DTS Vs SSIS

Does anyone has done a research on

1) What is the major difference between DTS & SSIS

2) What all issues need to be taken care of before migrating the DTS to SSIS? (PLs note: - Not just runing the DTS package using the SSIS provided DTS 2000 runtime)
