I was told to do the DTS which synchronizes the data between Informix and MS SQL server. First, I am not allowed to touch the Informix server. Is that possible to do the pull replication subscription from the SQL Express that does the extraction/update from Informix? I tried it out already but I didn't see any publication. umm.. my Informix is not loaded in windows machine.

Now lets clear the confusion DTS(data transformation service) in data is ETL(extraction transformation and loading), it moves and cleans data but not synchronisation. And when last I checked there is no replication in Express and the inter RDBMS(relational database managemet systems) replication is only available in the Enterprise edition. You have to tell me if Express is updating Informix or not so I can give you possible DTS solution. Both solutions require SQL Server Agent and the Agent is not in Express. Hope this helps.
