Dundas 2.0 for RS and image quality...disappointing

I was pretty excited to get the image quality improvements in Dundas
Charting for Reporting Services 2.0. Chris Hays blog on the issue of
rendering charts in a Custom Report Item explains the issue well.

We like the Dundas charts, but the image quality in pdf format isn't nearly
as good as the native charts, which I believe are also made by Dundas. With
the new properties of ImageResolution and Sizing I was hoping that I could
find a combination that would generate smooth images in both HTML and PDF
formats. I couldn't, I went back and read Chris' article and now understand
that there needs to be a mechanism to set these settings on a per/renderer
basis, or just wait for RS 200x or spx to implement vector graphic support.Hi Steve,
If you would like help or direction in how to best implement this,
please let us know. We have implemented such a mechanism in our online
report demo environment and have some tips on our support site:

There are a couple of ways to do this but the best solution depends on
how your reports are consumed. I would be happy to discuss your
options with you.
