DTS to SSIS

I've written thousands of DTS Packages with thousands of lines of ActiveX code which does thousands of things that would have been really simple in T-SQL.
How do I upgrade them to SSIS packages?
Do I need Visual Studio to do this?
Man it's slow todayi think that upgrade utility will come out right after they fix windows vista. anybody in Redmnond getting that sinking feeling?|||I've written thousands of DTS Packages with thousands of lines of ActiveX code which does thousands of things that would have been really simple in T-SQL.
